What influence the bearing quality?

 

A bearing can be influenced by:

Material
This is not a simple “GCr15” that can disctribe everything. Steel quality varies from steel factory to steel factory.

Crafts
Even one factory may have different crafts, simply doing it slowly way or faster could make difference.

Design
Drawings varies, a many more derivatives when a cost saving atempt is needed

Equipment
Including maintenance, including heat treatment equipment, turning, grinding, super-finishing, cleaning, automated assembling

Experience of workers
Workers in China are not as abundant as years ago, salary increased a lot but almost all factories are still lacking experienced workers

Quality checking equipment
Different Standard parts,

Management
It is attitude towards quality control, not a simple ISO certificate which can be “bought” easily

Parts Quality
This is very important for bearings, ball, roller, cages, seals, grease, even anti-rust oil etc.

 

It is not a standard, P0 (or ABEC-1, Z1 etc) that can tell you everything about the bearing quality. The same as “GCr15” does not mean material quality. There are many factors that can influence the bearing quality. And it is usually a combination of factors that can caused the bearing failure.
